Our Ladakh motorcycle tour is designed as a premium guided Adventure for riders who want to experience the Himalayas in the most authentic and organized way. The route takes riders across some of the highest motorable roads in the world, including legendary passes like Khardung La, Chang La, and Tanglang La.

One of the most extraordinary highlights of the expedition is riding to Umling La Pass, standing at around 5,800 meters (19,024 ft). Recognized as the highest motorable road in the world, Umling La offers an unmatched adventure riding experience in a remote and dramatic landscape rarely visited by travelers.

Welcome to Sri Lanka. After arriving at Colombo International Airport, our team will receive you and transfer you to the beautiful coastal town of Negombo. This day is relaxed to help riders settle into the tropical atmosphere of Sri Lanka.

In the evening, explore:

  • Hamilton Canal
  • Negombo Lagoon
  • Beachfront cafés and local seafood markets

After the briefing and motorcycle allocation, enjoy dinner with the team.

Overnight Stay: Negombo

Distance: Approx. 130–140 km

Ride north along Sri Lanka’s stunning coastal roads with ocean views and palm-lined villages. The route offers relaxed riding with beautiful tropical scenery.

  • Sunset by the Indian Ocean

This is one of the best days to enjoy Sri Lanka’s tropical coastal atmosphere.

Today the expedition enters Sri Lanka’s famous Cultural Triangle. Ride inland through countryside roads and ancient historical regions.

  • Optional Dambulla Cave Temple visit

Sigiriya is one of the most iconic destinations in Sri Lanka and offers incredible panoramic views.

Distance: Approx. 83 km

Ride into Sri Lanka’s lush mountain landscapes as the route climbs into the beautiful Knuckles Mountain Range.

Ella is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous travel destinations and perfect for relaxing cafés and sunset viewpoints.

Today the route descends from the mountains into Sri Lanka’s southern plains and tropical coastline.

  • Changing landscapes from hills to coast

Enjoy warm coastal weather as the expedition heads south.

Overnight Stay: Hambantota

Distance: Approx. 119–132 km

Ride along Sri Lanka’s southern coastal highway with ocean views almost throughout the day.

Do I need previous high-altitude riding experience?

Not necessarily. Riders should have basic to intermediate motorcycle riding experience. Our expedition itinerary is designed with proper acclimatization and our team provides full support throughout the journey.

We provide Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles, which are well known for their reliability and performance in high-altitude Himalayan terrain.

Yes. Umling La Pass (5,800 m) is currently recognized as the highest motorable road in the world, making it one of the biggest highlights of this expedition.

Our team constantly monitors riders’ health and carries first aid equipment and oxygen support. The itinerary is carefully designed to allow proper acclimatization. If needed, our backup support vehicle is always available.

Accommodation is arranged in comfortable hotels, guesthouses, and camps depending on the location. In remote regions we select the best available options.

Yes. A backup support vehicle travels with the group to carry luggage, spare parts, and assist riders if required.

Riders should bring their own helmet, riding jacket, gloves, riding pants, and boots suitable for high-altitude riding conditions.

you will need a Valid passport, Motorcycle driving license, Travel insurance. Your passport is also required to obtain permits for restricted areas such as Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Hanle, and Umling La.

The best riding season is June to September, when most Himalayan roads and high passes are open.

This is a moderate to challenging expedition due to high altitudes and long riding distances. However, with our experienced team and structured itinerary, most riders successfully complete the journey.

Yes. Many international riders join solo, and it’s a great way to meet other adventure riders from around the world.
